How do I migrate to a new device?

Below are the instructions on how to migrate to a new device:


Restoring your purchase on a new device:

  1. Configure your new device with the same Google Play Store account used to purchase the app.
  2. Install the app from the Google Play Store.
  3. Open the app to have your purchase restored.

Transferring your data from the old device:

  1. Go to the "Tools & Settings" page.
  2. Link the app to your Google Drive or Dropbox from your old device and backup your data if you haven't already done so.
  3. Link the app to your Google Drive or Dropbox from your new device and restore your backup.

Problem restoring purchase:
If you have multiple Google Play Store accounts configured on your device:

  1. Uninstall the app from your new device.
  2. Open the Google Play Store and select the active Play Store account from the left menu. Make sure it is the same Google Store account used for your purchase.
  3. Install the app on your new phone/tablet.

If you only have one Google Play Store account configured on your device, restart your device, reopen the app, and verify again before contacting us at contact@isavemoney.app.

How to add subcategories to a budget

To add a subcategory, 

  1. Open the category under which you want to add the subcategory. 
  2. On the category details page, you will find a button that allows you to add subcategories within the category.

I purchased, but my Premium is not active

iSaveMoney is an offline app that saves all your data locally. 

We do not store any of your data, but you can use the backup and restore option to save and restore your data.

Make sure you configure your device with the same google play account you used during your purchase.

The issue can also happen if you purchased the app with another play store account and then installed it with a different account.

Try this before contacting us:

  1. Configure your device with the same Google play store account used for your purchase from your old device.
  2. Open the app, go to the purchase screen (using the green button "Get the full version" on the left menu)
  3. And press on the "Restore Purchase." button.

I'm not able to add next month transaction to my budget

It is not possible to add transactions out of a budget date range.

You have three options to create your next budget:

  1. The first option is to clone your existing budget. Access the clone option from the "I want to..." button at the bottom right of the screen.
  2. The second option is to change the configuration of your current budget and increase the date range to in include the following month.  To do so use the "I want to..." button at the bottom right, then select the option "Budget Settings"
  3. The last option is to create a new budget from scratch for the next month. You can find the "Create budget" button on the left menu.
